Visit from China
On Tuesday, Drew’s grandfather and his wife came to visit and discuss their time living in China. His wife, Mrs. Isabella, was born in China and shared with us how to count and say common phrases in Chinese. Drew’s grandfather shared with us a very interesting story about the Great Wall of China. Then, Mrs. Isabella shared with us about the upcoming holiday, Chinese New Year. We were so excited to see the special gift they brought for us, a red envelope with our name in Chinese and Chinese money. These are a traditional gift for the children in China on the Chinese New Year. We finished off our time with fortune cookies and chocolate money from Drew!
Our special guests.
Counting to 10.
Drew and his gift!
Check us out on Photobucket for the visit with our guest from halfway around the world!
